I believe that every mother deserves to feel heard and supported during her birth experience. Birth is not only a medical event, but a life-changing moment, that deserves a steady presence and compassionate care.
I have been passionate about birth since the age of eight, when my younger sister was born. I begged my mom to let me be there for her birth and since then I have had a desire to work with and support laboring women. After graduating from Colorado Christian University with my bachelor's in psychology, I excitedly took the step to begin working in the birth world. Supporting you is such a joy, as I get to enter your world and support you in your goals.
I am not here to replace your midwives, doctors, or nurses, but rather, my role is to support you with continuous physical, emotional, and evidence-based support. I aspire to empower you to make informed decisions and feel supported throughout your laboring experience.

This allows the mother to feel safe and less anxious which allows the labor and birth to progress. A doula also helps families advocate for themselves by asking appropriate questions and being well informed of the choices they have.
